All Korean verbs have a basic form (or dictionary form) that ends in -다 (-da), and different endings are replacing "-다" to indicate tense or politeness.

The most common endings are -요 (-yo) for informal politeness and -습니다(-seumnida) for polite and more formal situations.

1. 하다 (To do): 나는 오늘 저녁에 공부를 합니다. I am studying tonight.
2. 있다 (to be / to stay): 우리 모두 같이 있자. Let's all stay together.
3. 가다 (To go): 나는 학교에 간다. I go to school.
Grammar: 가다 = 가 +ㄴ다. "ㄴ다" is a combination of the present tense marker "-ㄴ-" and the declarative ending '-다'
.
4. 오다 (To come): 선생님은 5분 후에 옵니다. The teacher will come in 5 minutes.
5. 먹다 (To eat): 나는 아침에 밥을 먹습니다. I eat rice in the morning.
